Ouremotions training course Staying Cool teaches participants how to gain and maintain control over their emotions when they are under pressure. This highly interactive workshop focuses on the words, body language and pace of communication necessary to manage and restore emotionally charged relationships.

Through emotions training your team will learn how to

  • Select the right task-tracking process for them
  • Adopt proven techniques for planning, scheduling and managing expectations
  • Employ word-controlling methods to use before, during and after challenging encounters
  • Avoid a “right/wrong” stance through a four-step response to criticism
  • Deliver criticism suggestions that will promote course corrections
  • Repair damaged relationships in five steps

 

Modules include

  1. Prevent. Team members learn to manage expectations while managing tasks, and to use checks and balances to keep things running smoothly.
  2. Deal. Participants learn how to manage their energy during trigger moments, and practice response formulas in different scenarios. They also master the steps to repair a relationship when something has gone awry.
  3. Act. Team members learn how to actively avoid stress — and to manifest their new habits when the heat is on.
